The important string istruments which is a shallow box in the form of a
regular trapezoid. Inside the box are wooden props which strengthen the
instrument and contribute to the resonance and the top surface is pierced
with two small rosettes. There are seventy two string,arranged in groups

How to play Santoor
There is only one group of strings for each of the seven notes of the octave ,
with the exception of E and F which have duplicate strings. The strings are
beaten with wooden hammers
